Solid-Phase Extraction and Lipids

Solid-phase extraction methodology has simplified many aspects of lipid analysis. My impression is that a proportion of this has not been examined critically, but nonetheless must be considered.

The following references were collected as part of our regular literature reviews for our own research purposes. They cover the years 1990 onwards. For the earlier literature, I recommend my review, which can now be accessed directly from our website (here) -

Christie, W.W. Solid-phase extraction columns in the analysis of lipids. In Advances in Lipid Methodology - One, pp. 1-17 (1992) (edited by W.W. Christie, Oily Press, Ayr).

A more recent one by Ruiz-Gutierrez. and Perez-Camino is cited below. I cannot claim to have covered the subject exhaustively here, but I have done my best. References are listed alphabetically by the first author of a paper, but not necessarily chronologically by that author.
