Scott Bloomer Ph.D


Scott graduated from the Department of Biotechnology of the University of Lund, Sweden with a doctorate focused on lipase-catalyzed lipid modifications. His subsequent work at Cargill Research encompassed all facets of industrial lipid processing, with forays into cocoa. Following that, he was employed a Land O'Lakes doing basic research in enzymatic treatment of dairy products, with emphasis on butter. Since 2004 he has been managing the oils and fats patent portfolio at Archer Daniels Midland Co. He works with inventors to capture their inventions, and drafts and prosecutes patent applications. Scott is a registered US Patent Agent.
