Karen Kelly, BAS, B.Sc.
Karen Kelly studied Geography and Nutritional Sciences at the University of Guelph, Canada, where she received a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences. She continued her education at the University of Alberta and obtained a B.Sc. She is currently a graduate student, in Dr. Ren? Jacobs’ laboratory, at the University of Alberta. Her research focuses on the whole-body and molecular effects of altered B-vitamin intake on energy metabolism. Karen is the recipient of several awards for academic merit and research achievements, including an Alexander Graham Bell Canada Graduate Scholarship, funded by the National Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada.
